Diaconate

The Diaconate is structured into three separate, yet complementary, ministry opportunities. The primary role of the deacons is to share God’s hospitality with the congregation on Sunday mornings. This involves:

• Preparation of communion and sanctuary before the service
• Welcoming guests and passing out bulletins
• Collecting offering and distributing communion during the service
• Post-service cleaning activities

Since there are some who are not able to perform all of these duties, teams are organized so that all can serve in whatever capacity they are able.
